Survival Tip No. 4: How to Cook Hedgehog

The Hedgehog; A prickly little mammal that is slow and easy to snare. They may not feed a family but they are a good source of necessary nutrition for daily survival. However the last thing you need is a mouthful of pins. So here is our tips for cooking the perfect Hedgehog.
The first ingredient is clay.
Clay can be found at the edge of rivers. Seek out the darker clay which still retains a decent quantity of moisture. This will allow for easy application to the hedgehog.

The next step is to simply roll the hedgehog in the clay to create a cocoon of clay around its body

Finally place the clay wrapped critter into a fire for approx 1 hour and ten minutes.
Peal away the clay once it has cooled slightly. The clay will pull away the spikes with it from the hedgehogs body leaving an easy to eat snack.
Bon Appetite
